Moses Parts the Sea

God’s people were trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the sea. They were afraid, but God made a way where there seemed to be no way. Moses trusted God, lifted his staff, and the Lord parted the waters so His people could walk through safely.

Trapped at the Sea

The Israelites had finally left Egypt after many years of slavery. God had rescued them, and they were on their way to freedom.

But then Pharaoh changed his mind. He sent his army after them. Soon, the Israelites saw the Egyptian army coming behind them. In front of them was the Red Sea. They felt trapped.

The people were afraid and began to complain to Moses. They thought there was no way out. But Moses told them not to be afraid. God was going to fight for them.

Exodus 14:10-14
