The Good Samaritan
Jesus told a story about a man who was traveling down the road. Robbers attacked him, hurt him, and left him there.
After a while, a priest came by. He saw the man, but he did not stop. Then another man came by and also passed him.
Later, a Samaritan came down the road. He saw the hurt man and felt compassion for him. He stopped to help. He cleaned the man’s wounds, placed him on his own animal, and brought him to a safe place. He even paid for the man's care.
Jesus used this story to teach an important lesson. Kindness is not only about words. Kindness notices people, helps people, and shows love when it is needed.
The Samaritan chose to help someone others ignored. That is the kind of kindness God wants His people to show.
Key Truth:
Kindness sees and helps others.
